I may be shutting this blog down! According to the NY Post model Liskula Cohen is suing Google in an attempt to unmask the blogger who trashed her as a "skank" and an "old hag" on a Web site devoted to shredding her.She is trying to force Google to reveal who defamed her on the blog "Skanks in NYC" as the "#1 skanky superstar." The blogger behind "Skanks in NYC" ridiculed Cohen as a desperate "40-something" who "may have been hot 10 years ago." Cohen is actually 36, according to records. Adding, 4 years to a woman's age? PURE EVIL. They also suggest that "[d]esperation seeps from her soul, if she even has one." She's must be just like Jessica Simpson then. "I can't begin to imagine why someone would post these things then hide behind a screenname," said her lawyer, Steven Wagner. "I guess we're going to have to find out." The defamation suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, seeks a court order compelling Google and its Blogger.com subsidiary to identify whoever led the vicious Internet assault against Cohen. Wagner conceded it's not easy to identify bloggers who lob insults anonymously, as New York courts have generally declined to unmask them. "We think we have a case," he said. "This is libelous, it's defamatory and you shouldn't just get away with this." Translation, either way, the lawyers are getting paid. Liskula Cohen has modeled for Giorgio Armani and Versace (along with thousands of other women) and made headlines last year when a doorman at a Manhattan hotspot smashed her in the face with a vodka bottle. Now I've never heard of Liskula Cohen. I vaguely remember the bottle incident, but I wouldn't be able to pick this woman out of a line-up, let alone a magazine ad. As a fat chick sitting behind a computer hurling insults at the rich and famous, I have one thing to say. For the love of God, Sergey and Larry please use a small fraction of your Google billions to fight this woman. Shut her down! Seriously, the Internet is just ike the playground when I was a kid. Perilous, Soul Crushing and a whole lot of fun! Being mocked builds character. And sometimes an increase in fame. This woman should be flattered. Just roll with it Liskula.
