LOHAN FAMILY VALUES

I've been avoiding the Lohan family drama that's being played out. On one hand, I completely agree that someone needs step in and try and save Lindsay. On the other hand, while Michael Lohan claims he's just trying to save Lindsay, I only think he's helping his bank account.

Another day, and another series of tapes were released by Michael. Today's conversations between Dina and Michael reveal that Lindsay Lohan was "dating" Heath Ledger before he died. "Dating" might be too strong of a word, since no one saw them in public together. Heath and Lindsay were "allegedly" hooking up and "allegedly" doing drugs together before he died. If this is true, this would be proof Heath had literally hit rock bottom before he passed.

Unfortunately the dead can't defend themselves, and this Lindsay Lohan connection would certainly put some tarnish on Heath Ledger's shine.

But after reading the last batch of 'soundbites' from Dina (click HERE to read) I have to wonder if Dina is in on this.

Could Dina AND Michael be trying to make some cash and "help" their daughter the only way they know how? Because publicity seems to be the currency of choice for the whole Lohan family. Tapes show Dina as a parent who actually cares (although she's too lazy to stupid to actually parent) and there seems to be an attempt to justify Lindsay's behaviour at the same time. There seems to be an attempt to evoke pity for Lindsay.

But it's funny to me, with all the talk about restraining orders against Michael and what an ass is he, no talk about shoving Lindsay's drug abusing ass into rehab. Or calling her probation officer and forcing her to get help. Funny that no one seems to care about that, eh?
