Maison Louis Vuitton - Sydney Grand Opening

December 2nd, 2011 saw the grand opening of Louis Vuitton Maison in Sydney, Australia. The Sydney store, the 13th "Maison" for Louis Vuitton globally, is styled to look like a luxurious heritage home. But the three-level store's most unique feature is the VIP room where, in only the second store in the world, clients can customize their own luxury items. Louis Vuitton's 'Made to Order' service allows women to personalize and custom build handbags, while men can do the same for shoes and belts. Milan is the only other store that provides this service. Academy Award winning actress Cate Blanchett was on hand to cut the ribbon.
