Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week - Spring 2012 presents CHANEL

At first, I forgot I was looking at a Chanel Couture Collection, as the initial pieces look rather "ready-to-wear" to me. They also looked bleak. While I applaud Karl Lagerfeld for putting pockets on everything (even rich women need a place to hide their hands), over all, this collection didn't cause me to salivate like I normally do when looking at Chanel. Too dark, too drab, not glamorous or chic, in my opinion. Then again "I shop at Gap" (but not recently because their stuff has been crappier than normal this past year).
