Hervé Léger by Max Azria, the uniform of every WAG and C list celebrity, presented a few variations on their "classic" bandage dress. For Fall 2012 Max Azria showed patterns, and lots of equestrian leather touches. I've been sick of this look for a while now, so I can appreciate the updates.

I haven't been too impressed by the collections at the New York Fashion Week - Fall 2012 so far. Celebrity stylist turned fashion designer Rachel Zoe, is only the second I found interesting (BCBG Max Azria was the first). Rachel's collection was inspired by the late-sixties London style icons Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithful, with great pantsuits, lots of layering and fabulous (fake) fur accents.

Funny, Kim Kardashian isn't at fashion week in New York. I wonder if no one wanted her. This dress is so unbelievably tacky on her. She looks like Coco (Ice-T's wife). I had an argument with someone last week who swore that Kim was all natural. LOLOLOLOL

I don't have to point out her implants. You can see them too right?

This is the best I've seen Serena Williams look.

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose. Amber could have been absolutely gorgeous, if her make-up artist didn't eff with her face. If she had just gone with a softer look, I would have been complimenting her for days.

Ci-error indeed. Ciara is to the music industry what Jessica Biel is to Hollywood. Bless both of them for still trying.

2012 MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute

The 2012 MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center last night. The festivities, one of a series of events leading up to tomorrow night's Grammy Awards, is an award presented annually by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the same organization that distributes the Grammy Awards, to commend musicians for their artistic achievement in the music industry and dedication to philanthropy. MusiCares foundation's programs provides emergency financial assistance, addiction recovery, outreach and leadership activities, and senior housing.

Paul McCartney, with his wife Nancy Shevell, was this year's Person of the Year.

RIP: Whitney Houston

I'm saddened and shocked by this - I thought Bobby Brown would have gone first.

Whitney Houston died this morning in Beverly Hills at the age of 48.

I was a kid when Whitney came on the scene. I adored her. I know a lot has been made of Whitney's declining state in her later years, but when she started out, her voice was so beautiful. Whitney is survived by her daughter Bobbi Kristina, and mother Cissy Houston.

Blind Vice! Nevis Divine's Sad Past

As we've established, the yummy ‘n' handsome star Nevis Devine likes both girls and boys (what fool who wants to keep all his options open doesn't?), mostly avoids little spats with costars and doesn't mind having some of his male BFFs double as daytime nookie partners, whenever Nevis is so inclined.

But basically, Nevis is as happy as he is horny in life! With one small exception. . .

Recently, Nevis has been giving some eyebrow-raising press interviews. It's not his usual jovial and aw-shucks stuff—which Nevis has always been most excellent at delivering.

Also, it's no secret Mr. D.'s been hitting the sauce a lot, as of late. Partying too much, as well.

And the latter reasons are why most folks seem to think Nevis has gotten more melancholy lately—publicly, at least.

But it ain't the reason.

The real culprit behind Nevis's more bummed-out moods these days has to do with a good friend becoming pregnant. It started getting Nevis much more sadface than he usually is.

Why? Well, not just because he loves kids and wants his own one day, but more specifically, because there was a private tragedy in his family a few years back involving a child—and few know about it. And Nevis doesn't like to think about this unfortunate chapter in his life—in fact he makes an absolute point not to. But his pal's good news has just brought it all crashing back down on him again, and N.D. just doesn't know what to do besides screw around and get high—and avoid it all.

Sorry you're feelin' down, Nevis. But cheer up, we're sure you'll have your own family one day soon!

PageSix has an incredible story in today's column. While Lindsay Lohan was at Wednesday night's amfAR Gala, she tried to persuade a wealthy patron to bid on an expensive gift for her during the auction.

According to Page Six:

Spies said that when Lohan recognized a wealthy Canadian financier at a nearby table, she shot over to schmooze him — but then sent an assistant over when bidding on the charity auction began.

“There were items being auctioned for $20,000,” said a spy. “After chatting with the businessman, Lindsay sent over an assistant, who said, ‘Lindsay would very much like it if you’d bid on this item as a gift.’”

However, the gentleman declined. “He just cracked up,” our source said — and the piece, believed to be a Hublot diamond watch with a white alligator strap, went to another bidder.

Can you imagine?

I can. I have two friends who do this. They need new shoes, purses, rent money. . . they have a list of men who they call on for support. Sometimes they get lucky and sometimes they don't. Funny thing is, I know, you know, and they know, nobody gives you anything for free. These ladies pay for the goods in other ways.

Suddenly Lindsay's free hotel stays, trips around the world on luxury yachts all make sense. And to think I thought Lindsay would end up on skid row or doing hard core porn. Nope, Lindsay has already figured out how to make a buck. It also explains the look. Some men like their women to look like whores. #nolie
